During a stroke, the brain loses oxygen so that every minute lost before treatment equals brain tissue lost. Could you identify a person having a stroke? Recognizing the symptoms and seeking immediate medical attention can lessen the effects of stroke if treatment is provided within three hours of the first symptom.
