Mid-Level Practitioner - HospitalistFull-TimeThis position can be filled by a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant. A NP must have a registered nurse license, a Master of Science in Nursing degree, and be certified by an agency approved by the ANA. The PA must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be certified by the state of Texas. Clinical experience is preferred in this position. Maintain current license as C-FNP or PA-C in the state of Texas. At least one year experience in a doctor's office or in a clinical setting is preferred, but not required.In collaboration with a license physician, the mid-level practitioner performs services in the practice of medicine. The primary responsibility is to extend clinical services in the delivery of health care and perform administrative duties of the clinic as it pertains to employees, accounts payable, and accounts receivable issues. Serves as the direct representative of the physician in conjunction with other disciplines and departments.

Applies age-specific needs in the planning and implementation of the surgical procedure. Possesses expertise in scrubbing for cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, and thoracic procedures. Must take call on a rotating basis.
Occupational TherapistFull-Time / DaysGraduate from an AOTA approved Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Licensed by the Texas State Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners. Prefer 1 to 2 years Occupational Therapy experience in an acute care setting. Experience desired in ortho, neuro, skilled nursing, and outpatients.Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing, and administrating of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. Administers treatments and occupational agents, as prescribed by a referring licensed practitioner and therapist recommendations, in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.

Registered Respiratory TherapistPRNMust be a graduate of a Therapist Program of a JRCRTE approved school. Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT).Registered Respiratory Therapist is an individual who is recognized as Registered (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). He/she is responsible for performing respiratory care services.

Previous Medical Terminology Class.Reporting to the Unit Manager, the Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) performs secretarial and receptionist duties associated with the patient care unit while serving as a focal communication source at the nursing station. The HUC maintains patient records, transcribes physician orders, assist in coordination of patient location and maintains orders at the nursing station.

Maintenance EngineerFull-Time - Monday - FridayHigh School graduate. Five (5) years mechanical, repairs, and inspection in hospital or related industry. Knowledgeable in basic wiring, plumbing, and mechanical equipment operation.The Maintenance Engineer performs mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance relating to his specialty. Massage Therapist -

PRNGraduate of TDH massage school. Maintenance of required CEU’s. Current RMT license from the Texas Department of Health; membership in a national professional organization (with liability insurance) must be acquired within four months of date of employment. Current CPR and First Aid Certification.The Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage therapy to members and non-members in a professional manner; provides support with all promotions as well as departmental tasks.
