Mid-Level Practitioner - HospitalistFull-TimeThis position can be filled by a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant. A NP must have a registered nurse license, a Master of Science in Nursing degree, and be certified by an agency approved by the ANA. The PA must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be certified by the state of Texas. Clinical experience is preferred in this position. Maintain current license as C-FNP or PA-C in the state of Texas. At least one year experience in a doctor's office or in a clinical setting is preferred, but not required.In collaboration with a license physician, the mid-level practitioner performs services in the practice of medicine. The primary responsibility is to extend clinical services in the delivery of health care and perform administrative duties of the clinic as it pertains to employees, accounts payable, and accounts receivable issues. Licensed by the Texas State Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners. Prefer 1 to 2 years Occupational Therapy experience in an acute care setting. Previous Medical Terminology Class.Reporting to the Unit Manager, the Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) performs secretarial and receptionist duties associated with the patient care unit while serving as a focal communication source at the nursing station. The HUC maintains patient records, transcribes physician orders, assist in coordination of patient location and maintains orders at the nursing station. Also provides continuous surveillance of monitor tracings on the central console in the telemetry unit.

Graduate from a Medical Coding course from a recognized college, major university, or technical program. At least 6 months inpatient coding experience in an acute care facility. Outpatient ICD-9-CM AND CPT coding knowledge passing interview coding test scoring 80% or greater.Provides the advanced skills necessary for proper coding of all pertinent diagnoses and procedures and to provide optimal diagnosis coding assignments after thorough review of medical records.
Massage Therapist -

PRNGraduate of TDH massage school. Maintenance of required CEU’s. Current RMT license from the Texas Department of Health; membership in a national professional organization (with liability insurance) must be acquired within four months of date of employment.
