Dr. Javier Vazquez-Ortiz
Your Primary Care Physician at Citizens Family Medicine Clinic
Dr. Vazquez-Ortiz graduated from the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico and completed his Residency in Family Medicine at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, NC.
Prior to coming to Victoria, Dr. Vazquez-Ortiz practiced at Mendoza Soldier Family Care Center at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
Dr. Vazquez-Ortiz was deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan to provide medical care at Stryker Infantry Squadron in support of operation Enduring Freedom. Most recently, and for the last 18 months, Dr. Vazquez-Ortiz practiced at Texas Health Center right here in Victoria.
Dr. Vazquez-Ortiz speaks fluent English and Spanish.
